The Order Reporter is a feature in the ExpertVoice Shopify app. It automates conversion tracking and sends expert order data directly to ExpertVoice Finance, eliminating the need for the legacy JavaScript tracking pixel. That means more accurate reporting, easier reconciliation, and zero manual work.
💡 Note: This feature is only available to brands using Shopify with a redirect store experience on ExpertVoice. If the ExpertVoice Conversion Tracking Pixel is currently installed on your site, it should be removed after installing the app to prevent duplicate reporting.
What the app tracks
Conversion data from ExpertVoice expert purchases
Order data linked to discount codes issued through ExpertVoice or created via Deal Manager
No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected

The following data points are shared with ExpertVoice only when the order includes a matching discount code or a deal created in Deal Manager:

Subtotal (after discounts)
Discount amount
Tax and shipping charges
Total order value
Currency (USD, CAD, AUD, etc.)
Discount code
Shipping location: city, state, postal code, country
Product-level data
Product ID
Product name
SKU
UPC
MSRP

How to install the ExpertVoice Shopify App
Log into the Advocacy Platform
Go to advocacy.expertvoice.com-
Find your Pixel ID
Navigate to Configure > Conversion Tracking Pixel
Copy your unique Pixel ID (format: exp-###-######)

Install the App
Visit the ExpertVoice Shopify App Store Listing
Click Install and accept the required permissions
Paste your Pixel ID when prompted
✅ A green “Complete” badge will display when setup is successful

Notify ExpertVoice
Email your Customer Success partner once installed
ExpertVoice will begin receiving order data immediately
⚠️ If you previously installed the JavaScript tracking pixel, remove it now to avoid duplicate reporting. Check if it's still installed.
Frequently asked questions
Does this app share all our Shopify order data?
- No. Only orders that include i) a discount code issued by ExpertVoice or ii) a deal created in Deal Manager are reported.
Is order data retroactive?
- No. Data collection starts from the date the app is installed.
Does ExpertVoice store PII?
- No. ExpertVoice never stores expert names, emails, addresses or payment information.
Can I view this order data in the Advocacy Platform?
- Not at this time. The data does not populate in the Analytics section.
What if I stop using Shopify?
- Notify your Account Executive so we can update your reporting configuration.
