Overview
When an expert finishes an activity for the Product Sampling Campaign, they will receive automated messaging to complete the next activity.
You can review the status of their completed activities one expert at a time in the Activities tab or at scale using reports in the Dashboard tab. Both of these will help you better understand the campaign output and your overall conversion rate.
The activity data in these charts and reports will automatically update once the expert completes their activity.
How to monitor expert activities
One expert at a time
Click the Activity tab if you'd like to see each expert's progress with completing the initial and content-sharing activities.
Each expert would have a green checkmark in the relevant column if they completed the activity. If they did not complete it, the column would be blank.
You can use the filters on the left-hand menu to show a list of experts with incomplete or completed activities. You can even drill down further by segment if you'd like.
The campaign automatically sends experts reminders, emails, and in-app notifications until the Activity Due Date. If an expert did not complete one or more activities or they were delayed with completing an activity, you can:
- Make an internal note on the expert's profile in the Activity tab
- Change the expert's star rating on the Applicants tab
Saved notes and star ratings will carry over into any future campaigns that your brand runs in the same expert is targeted.

At scale
We recommend that you check the campaign dashboard frequently to see completed activities at scale.
Here, you can track how many total photos and/or reviews approved expert applicants have published so far. The numbers in each bar graph chart match how many experts were approved for your Product Sampling Campaign and designated to a specific segment. To see how each segment performed, click Show activity by segment.
Experts who share a photo on Instagram
Click View Instagram Posts to open a link and view a gallery hosted on Instagram with all content shared by experts with public Instagram profiles. Posts from experts with private Instagram profiles will not appear here. Earlier in your campaign configuration, you could insert one or more hashtags to track the Instagram Posts' activity.
- The experts must have used the campaign hashtag(s) in their in-feed Instagram post caption and/or as a comment on the post for it to appear in the Instagram gallery.
- As more experts upload content using the requested hashtag(s), the Instagram gallery will automatically populate with their content. You can check this link whenever more posts are published.
Experts who share a photo on ExpertVoice
Click View ExpertVoice Photos to open a link and view all photos uploaded by experts to your Product Sampling Campaign landing page. Earlier in the campaign configuration, you could customize what types of photos and captions samplers should share on ExpertVoice.
TIP: You can also see and engage with the samplers' photos in the Content Manager. Click the campaign name on the left-hand menu to filter the user-generated content and only show imagery generated from your Product Sampling Campaign.
Experts who post an external review
Click View Online Reviews to open a link and view all reviews shared by experts on a specific website. Earlier in your campaign configuration, you could customize the link in the External Product Reviews activity.
Experts who post a review on ExpertVoice
Click View Reviews to open up a link and view all product reviews shared by experts on ExpertVoice. Earlier in your campaign configuration, you could customize the specific product(s) you wanted to collect reviews for in the ExpertVoice Reviews activity.
The reviews shared by your samplers will have an "Incentivized" badge on them. You can also see and engage with these reviews in the Review Manager by using the "Incentivized" review filter in the left-hand menu.
