ExpertVoice offers three key review analytics reports—Reviews Over Time, Reviews by Team, and Reviews by Region—to help brands monitor product sentiment, engagement, and geographical distribution. These reports leverage Net Promoter Score® (NPS®) data to offer actionable insights about your experts and how they interact with your products.
NPS® color breakdown:
- Green (9–10): Promoters — loyal enthusiasts who recommend and re-purchase
- Yellow (7–8): Passives — satisfied but not enthusiastic, and vulnerable to competitors
- Red (0–6): Detractors — unhappy experts who may spread negative word-of-mouth
Reviews over time
The Reviews Over Time report is a vertical bar chart that shows the total number of product reviews your brand receives on ExpertVoice over time. This report also includes NPS® to highlight expert sentiment and recommendation likelihood.
How to access the report:
- Go to Analytics in the Advocacy Platform
- Click Add Reports to Dashboard
- Select Reviews Over Time, then drag and drop it onto your dashboard
- Name your report (max 255 characters)
- Click the report to explore and filter the data
Filter options:
- Product name
- Product category (if the expert is a verified product owner)
- Relative review date or custom date range
- Display metric (total reviews or unique experts recommending)
Interaction tips:
- Hover and click on any bar or color section to view NPS® score summaries.
- Click again to return to the full chart.
Note: This report is only populated for brands collecting reviews via an ExpertVoice Hosted Store or Product Catalog.
Reviews by team
The Reviews by Team report is a horizontal bar chart that shows how different ExpertVoice teams rate your brand's products. This helps you understand which teams are most engaged and how they perceive your brand.
How to access the report:
- Go to Analytics in the Advocacy Platform
- Click Add Reports to Dashboard
- Select Reviews by Team, then drag and drop it onto your dashboard
- Name your report (max 255 characters)
- Click the report to explore and filter the data
Filter options:
- Product name
- Product category (for verified product owners)
- Team name
- NPS® score
- Relative review date or specific date range
Interaction tips:
- Click on any row or color to view a score summary.
- Click again to return to the full report.
Reviews by region
The Reviews by Region report visualizes where your product reviews originate, using both a heat map and dot distribution chart. This report shows you where in the U.S. and Canada your expert reviewers are located.
Map details:
- Top map: Color-coded regions showing review volume by state or province.
- Bottom map: Dot distribution reveals dense review clusters.
How to access the report:
- Go to Analytics in the Advocacy Platform
- Click Add Reports to Dashboard
- Select Reviews by Region, then drag and drop it onto your dashboard
- Name your report (max 255 characters)
- Click the report to explore and filter the data
Filter options:
- Product name
- Product category (for verified product owners)
- Team name
- NPS® score
- Relative review date or custom date range
Interaction tips:
- Hover and click a state or province to view its review summary.
- Click again to return to the full map.
- Scroll to the bottom to view which teams published the reviews and how many.
Pro tip: Click Download > Data to export the report for easier filtering. If you see “Null,” it means the team didn’t provide a location during affiliation.
Managing reports in your dashboard
For any report, click the three-dot menu in your Analytics Dashboard to:
- Explore in more detail
- Rename the report
- Duplicate or remove it
- View the report description
