As an ExpertVoice brand partner, did you know that you can invite newly qualified members to join the ExpertVoice network on behalf of your brand?
To personalize new members' onboarding experience and increase sign-ups, follow these simple steps below.
#1. Customize your brand page
First, visit the Advocacy Platform to ensure your ExpertVoice brand page is on-brand and seasonally relevant. Before a new member qualifies for ExpertVoice, your brand page is your referral page; it does not allow viewers access to your deals or campaigns. If the new member is approved for ExpertVoice, they will only unlock access to the platform and your brand's deals and campaigns.
- Click Configure and then Bring Your Own Experts
- Select Manage your brand page assets to edit your brand page, including your logo, banner image, and description; you can customize the copy and imagery at anytime
- Next, click Award images in the Content App to customize the user-generated content featured at the top of your referral page
Tip: If your brand hasn't collected user-generated content (UGC) on ExpertVoice yet, you can quickly upload and award one yourself. Simply visit your personal ExpertVoice profile page and scroll down to the Experiences section to upload a relevant brand photo. Click the Share your expertise button to upload the photo, tag your brand on the image, and then save the photo. Next, return to the Advocacy Platform and award your UGC in the Content Manager. This photo will now display at the top of your brand's referral page.
#2. Share your referral page
You can invite qualified experts to the platform in a few different ways.
From the Advocacy Platform
- Click Configure and select Bring Your Own Experts
- Copy your custom landing page link and share it with newly qualified members in your brand's marketing channels, such as:
- SMS text message
- Social media posts
- In-person events (e.g., trade shows, insider events, sales clinics, corporate meetings)
- A Pro Deal or Rewards Program landing page on your website (see an example here)

Tip: This option is useful for cases where you want to use a QR code or use the mobile option below to invite by text.
On Web
- Click Me and select the Refer an Expert button
- Select a relevant affiliation (optional)
- Copy your custom referral link or send the individual an email invitation
On Mobile
iOS and Android only
- Log into the ExpertVoice app
- Tap the Experts tab on the bottom menu
- Select Refer an Expert at the top of the page
- Share your custom referral link as an email, text message, QR code, etc.
TIP: To quickly invite one or more new qualified members from a specific location, group or team (we call these "affiliations"), select the affiliation within the ExpertVoice app and then have them scan your custom QR code on your mobile phone or tablet.
#3. Track your referrals
On ExpertVoice (Web browser)
- Click Me and select the Refer an Expert button
- Scroll down to Your referrals to see a summary of the referrals you have submitted overtime and their status (joined or pending)
- Click Follow next to their name to friend the expert(s) you referred from your personal ExpertVoice profile (optional)
On the ExpertVoice App (Mobile)
iOS and Android only
- Log into the ExpertVoice app
- Tap the Experts tab on the bottom menu
- Select Refer an Expert at the top of the page
- Tap View referrals to see a summary of the referrals you have submitted overtime and their status (sent or accepted)
- Tap Follow next to their name to friend the expert(s) you referred from your personal ExpertVoice profile (optional)
Off-platform
When promoting your ExpertVoice referral page to newly qualified members, it's important to understand which marketing channel(s) drive the most referrals. One of the primary ways to do this is through UTM parameters, short lines of text added to the end of your landing page link to track the performance of your referral page.
