A Structured lesson is a copy and photo-based templated lesson that can be used in Education Campaigns on ExpertVoice. With a Structured lesson:
- You can import up to 1-3 images with accompanying text in this templated lesson
- It is recommended that your lesson focuses on one key topic or product, such as your brand history or a deep dive into one product
- You can include an Edu-Game at the end to quiz experts about the content if you'd like
How to create a Structured lesson
- Visit the Lesson Library in the Library in the Advocacy Platform
- Create a new Structured lesson
- Compose the Structured lesson content and upload images
- Preview your lesson
Use the Library
Structured lessons can be created in the Lesson Library or while creating certain campaigns.
Create a new Structured lesson
On the Lesson Library, click Create New Lesson and select Structured Lesson
To start, insert a Lesson Name to describe the lesson you’re about to create. This name is expert-facing and will display throughout the ExpertVoice platform.
Introduction
The introduction should provide a high-level overview of your lesson's topic or theme. It should explain what the expert is about to learn, establish the lesson's focus, and get experts excited to learn about your brand.
Tip: Experts love to read personal stories and see the people behind the scenes at your brand. They want to read insights from insiders at your company, including product designers and founders.
To get started, click Upload Image to upload the Intro Header Image.
On the popup notification, drag and drop an image onto the screen or click Browse to find an image from your computer. The image should meet these guidelines:

What is the ideal structured lesson length?
Experts join ExpertVoice to stay informed about the latest brands, products, and technologies but can sometimes be pressed for time.* With this in mind:
- 69% of surveyed experts say short-format lessons less than 90 seconds in length are extremely valuable.
- 51% of surveyed experts say longer format, in-depth lessons 3-5 minutes in length are somewhat valuable, with 25% saying they are extremely valuable.
For each lesson, we automatically estimate the total duration or amount of time that it will take the average target expert to read through and complete your lesson successfully. The lesson duration is stated in seconds and minutes and summarized throughout ExpertVoice.
To see your lesson's expected duration, click the three dots to the right of the lesson name to preview the lesson. Then in the top left-hand corner of the lesson, you will see the expected duration.
