A coupon is a digital offer that experts must click to apply a limited-time discount ($ off) at checkout on ExpertVoice, valid once a minimum spend threshold is met. Coupons offer experts instant savings and give brands that run them an effective conversion and AOV lever in their hosted store.
Active coupons appear on a brand's shop page and eligible products. Experts will also see coupons in promotional item filters and at checkout. Any Expert in the brand’s Hosted Store target audience will be offered a Coupon. When the Expert clicks the coupon, it's considered issued or claimed but won't be redeemed until the Expert checks out. ExpertVoice schedules your coupon to run until the expiration date.
With Coupons, brands can increase conversions and drive AOV by giving Experts extra "one-click" savings and getting more products into their hands.

Frequently asked questions
- What are the requirements for Coupons? You must have a Hosted store (or combined hosted stores) with a minimum of 500 average weekly visits on ExpertVoice in order to run a Coupon campaign.
- How do Experts use Coupons? When an Expert finds a Coupon on a qualifying product page or at checkout, they can click to claim the Coupon. This will cause the Coupon to be ‘issued’ or ‘claimed’. At checkout, the Expert must then ‘activate’ or apply the Coupon to their order by checking the box.
- How does a coupon differ from a limited-time offer? With Coupons, you can run a limited-time offer, such as an additional dollar off of your ExpertVoice deal. Coupons require an Expert to click and apply the deal at checkout, while limited-time offers are automatically applied during the promotional period.
- How does a Coupon differ from a Promotional Code? Coupons are available to Hosted Store brands, while Promo Codes are only available to Redirect Store brands.
- Can I run more than one Coupon at a time? Yes, you can run different Coupons for different ExpertVoice stores (e.g., one for Outlet and one for Generic Store), but an expert can only redeem one coupon at a time at Checkout. They cannot stack ExpertVoice Coupons from one or more brands or more stores; they can only use one (1) Coupon at Checkout.
- How can I run a Coupon? Please contact your Account Executive to learn more.

What are the best practices for Coupons?
- Tie a coupon to a minimum spend threshold of your store AOV or higher to drive higher value orders.
- Maximize impact by promoting coupons through promotional media and launching them at key product lifecycle stages.
- Choose a discount ($10 or higher) based on your profit margins and marketing strategy. ExpertVoice may test dollar-off for the best conversion, specifically for a brand's store with higher-priced items.
- How can I track results? Reporting will be available in the Advocacy Platform Analytics. There you can track metrics such as the total Total Issued Coupons (#), or the unique number of Experts who clicked to claim your coupon, the Total Redeemed Coupons (#), or the number of coupons that Experts successfully used for their purchases at checkout, as well as other coupon order metrics including GMV and AOV.
