The Awarded Redirect Codes Report in Analytics provides brands with a Redirect Store an overview of the total promotional codes generated for experts on ExpertVoice.
This report tracks the total number of awarded and remaining codes over time, ensuring your brand's target audience(s) can access your products and deals. Once a code is used, it's classified as redeemed.
Why it matters
Promotional code management is essential for Redirect Brands on ExpertVoice. A promotional code encourages an expert to purchase from a brand's website after being redirected from ExpertVoice. Comparing awarded and remaining promotional codes will help you forecast future needs.

How to access the report
- Visit Analytics in the Advocacy Platform
- Click Add Reports to Dashboard
- Click Awarded Redirect Codes and then drag and drop it to your preferred analytics dashboard
- Insert a name for your new report
- 255 characters maximum
- Default text: Awarded Redirect Codes
Click the report title or the three dots on the report's right side to expand the options drop-down menu. You can explore the report, rename it, duplicate it, remove it from your dashboard, or view the report description here.
How to visualize and examine the data
The following tips can help you analyze the report in greater detail and visualize the data in ways that best suit your needs.
Bar chart (default)
The default view shows data in a bar chart. This view is useful for showing the colorful and visual distribution of promotional code data over time. Under Switch Display, select one of the following filters from the dropdown menu to view the information in a bar chart.
- Over Time
- By Team
- By Expert
When the bar chart loads on the screen, click a bar to view how many promotional codes were awarded during this time. To view the total sum of all awarded promotional codes for multiple bars in the chart, simply click your mouse on one bar and then drag it to another specific bar. When you’re ready, hover over the selected data and wait a few seconds to see the total sum of awarded promotional codes.
List view
See data from the past 365 days and promotional code usage over time in a Code List view. Use the Relative Date or Custom Date Awarded filters in the right-hand menu to see data from a specific date range. The list display is beneficial for downloading data as an Excel or CSV file.
The Filters
You can select one or more filters to customize your report. Click Save Report to save your filters.
- Team: A specific group of experts representing a specific retailer and/or professional organization.
- User Class: View the data for a specific audience's incentive.
- Relative Awarded Date: View the data by years, quarters, months, weeks, or days
- Custom Awarded Date: View the data by a specific date range.

Code List: A list showing individual codes distributed to experts in your target audience on ExpertVoice.
- Tip: This view displays each expert’s full name, ExpertVoice User ID, promotional code, code status, code awarded date, and the number of awarded codes. For any unused (“remaining”) codes, these individuals will show as “Null.”
- Over Time: A bar chart showing the total number of codes awarded to all experts in your target audience on ExpertVoice.
- By Team: A bar chart showing the total number of promotional codes awarded to specific groups of experts in your target audience on ExpertVoice.

- Tip: "Store T." represents the ExpertVoice Stores Team (stores@expertvoice.com) testing the promotional code.

The report summary
Above the chart, a high-level snapshot of the data represented in the report will populate. Please note that the report summary numbers may change if you change one or more report filters or the data refreshes.
- Total Codes: The total number of codes provided to your target audience(s) on ExpertVoice.

Awarded Codes: The total number of codes generated for the target audience(s) on the order guidelines page before they are redirected to your website. The expert may or may not have successfully made a purchase on your website.
- Tip: Once an expert completes their purchase, the promo code is classified as redeemed.
- Remaining Codes: The total number of codes successfully redeemed by experts on your website. In this use case, the expert successfully made a purchase on your website.
- Average Awarded Promo Codes Per Team: The total average number of promotional codes used by a specific team on ExpertVoice.
- Average Awarded Promo Codes Per Expert: The total average number of promotional codes used by individual experts on ExpertVoice.
💡 Tip: Each expert in the ExpertVoice community needs a “team” to access brand content and discounts. Teams can be assigned through a job (working at REI or a local bike shop), a membership (National Academy of Sports Medicine, American Alpine Club, etc.), or by proving knowledge.
